 Raspberry Ketones Research - Do RK's Work For Weight Loss

In two separate studies, one performed by a university in Japan, and the other by the Korean FDA, raspberry ketones manifested a variety of positive results.

In the raspberry ketones research study performed in Japan, the study was set to determine whether raspberry ketones help prevent obesity and if they trigger lipid metabolism in lab rodents.

In the study, mice were ate a high fat diet.  This diet included the following raspberry ketones dose which have been converted to human equivalents; 100mg/day or 200mg/day.  They were placed on this raspberry ketones diet for 10 weeks.  The rodents were given the high fat diet for the first 6 weeks of the diet plan and then followed the same diet with the addition of the raspberry ketones.

Below we have listed 5 observations we've made from this raspberry ketones research.

First, raspberry ketones made a distinct difference in lowering the overall body weight and organ weight in the lab rodent's population following the high fat diet.

Second, the raspberry ketones research showed evidence that the RK suppressed fat absorption.  This was accomplished by the inhibiting of glycerol hydrolysis effects.  Translated to non-scientific terms, this means that the RK were effective at supporting the burning of calories even when the body was at rest.

Third, the raspberry ketones research demonstrated that RK increased norepinephine-induce lipolysis.  This means it increased the rate at which fat is broken down when norepinephine compound is present.  This compound is produced when our body is in an active kinetic state.

Fourth, the raspberry ketones research showed that an increased volume of hormone sensitive lipase goes through the vesicles where fat cells store fatty acids.  The hormone sensitive lipase acts to have fat cells mobilize and excrete fatty acids.

Fifth, the raspberry ketones research found the RK increased brown adipose tissue thermogenesis.  This increase occurs with as calories are burned through heat.

Our concluding opinion is that the raspberry ketone showed RK increases thermogenesis and the burning of body fat (Oxidation) in both states of resting and activity.  Unlike many miracle weight loss pills, products and ingredients, it appears RK accomplishes all of those tasks without stimulants or cardiovascular stimulation.

Raspberry Ketones Research - FDA of Korea

In 2010 the Korean FDA approved and executed raspberry ketones research.

The Korean FDA confirmed in their publication that the raspberry ketone boosted both the expression and secretion of adiponectin.  Adiponectin is a protein hormone that helps with multiple metabolic processes.  Two of these processes are the regulation of glucose and fatty acid catabolism.

Previous research of adiponectin, showed human levels of adoponectin inversely correlated with the percentage of fat our body carries.  This means that low body fat levels correlate to higher adiponectin levels.

This theory was supported in the previous raspberry ketones research performed with the fat lab mice.  The mice easily lost body fat when RK was present.  In other studies, increased adiponectin levels showed a potentially positive effect on type 2 diabetes, obesity, atherosclerosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and for those looking to lose weight, it had an effect on metabolic syndrome.

The raspberry ketones research from this study "holds great promise as an herbal medicine since its biological activities alter the lipid metabolism in 3T3-L1 adipocytes."

Not until we put some time into finding raspberry ketones research, did we decide to get premium raspberry ketones manufactured into a supplement.  We believe raspberry ketones can be the best dietary supplement people take.
